I actually have known Tanya Anticevic since elementary school at The United Nations International School in New York City.
I have dedicated my time to continuing and improving on the work that my father did, and Tanya moved to LA and contacted me. I was blown away by how perfect she was to be a teacher at our school. Not only did she have a lifetime of acting experience, a degree in education and had worked as a teacher for over a decade, but she also had studied acting with my brother John Strasberg as well as at The Actors Studio- training in method specifically!
Not matter what class she was teaching, whether it was acting, scene study, and improvisation and theater games or directing the one-acts, she was one of the most popular teachers. Even one of our celebrated parents, Mr. Al Pacino, gave rave reviews for her dedication and talents when he came to sit in and watch her teach his daughter.
I know Tanya has had many different life and work experiences but her understanding and passion for theater, theater history, acting techniques and the craft of acting will make her a stand out educator wherever she goes.
