I am the site supervisor of an afternoon enrichment program working with 4th – 8th graders at a school in East Hampton, New York. The kids are with us from 3:00-6:00 every school day. During that time the kids spend about an hour working on homework, and then we have organized activities meant to provide them with enrichment experiences they would normally not get in school or out. We are always trying new activities in the hopes of finding something that the majority of kids will enjoy while they are learning. One of the activities we tried was called, “drama games,” and it was taught by Tanya Anticevic.
Sometimes it is a struggle to get the kids interested in our activities, but thanks to Tanya’s many skills the kids were quickly hooked. Tanya’s unique blend of improvisational games and skit acting was appealing to all the kids. She has the kids
laughing and learning at the same time. Over the course of the semester, she built on the skill level of the class until the kids were working on short skits that they had written themselves while in small groups. Based on my observations of her with the kids, I wholeheartedly recommend Tanya to any acting school.
