Crafting Characters with Talent, Creativity, and Passion

Tanya Anticevic is a dynamic, multi-talented actress and voice-over artist whose passion for storytelling and creativity spans across multiple mediums. Whether on stage or behind the mic, Tanya’s artistry brings a depth, humor, and authenticity to her work that resonates with audiences.

A first-generation American with South African and Croatian roots, Tanya’s upbringing in the heart of New York City’s artistic scene—next to Lincoln Center—was the perfect backdrop for her creative journey. Surrounded by a family of artists, she was drawn to the stage from a young age. By 12, she was auditioning for roles, despite the nerves that would sometimes leave her in tears. Tanya’s early exposure to art, music, and dance shaped her natural instincts as a performer and later, as a teacher and mentor.

Tanya honed her skills at the prestigious “Fame” LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, followed by a deep dive into Drama Studies and Language Arts at S.U.N.Y Purchase. She later returned to pursue acting full-time, earning an MFA from the renowned Actors Studio Drama School. After dabbling in celebrity high end real estate to pay off grad school debt, Tanya’s artistic journey brought her to The Hamptons, where she joined The Naked Stage Improv Group, starred in a rave review role at The John Drew Theater, and became a sought-after voice for many local businesses on WEHM Radio.

As an actress, Tanya has built a reputation for her versatility, effortlessly switching between comedic and dramatic roles with substance and charm. Her stage presence is charismatic, and she has a natural gift for accents and dialects, having trained in comedic timing at Second City. Her expressive demeanor highly resonates on camera, and her diverse background enables her to portray characters with truth, and honesty- whether it’s a quirky doctor or a soulful, emotional lead.

Tanya’s voice-over career has taken her from NYC to LA, where she was represented by top talent agencies. Promos, audio books, cartoons, video games, and a wide variety of character voice-over roles became her specialty. Her voice is known for its pleasant, sultry, animated, and sometimes throaty or humorous qualities—perfect for a wide range of ages and projects. Her voice’s natural, likable tone has been a favorite for narrations, promos, dubbing and websites, commercial spots, while her deep character range allows her to transform into everything from perky young voices to wise old witches and salty old men.

In addition to her work in voice acting, Tanya found herself stepping into the world of music videos, working with one of the most celebrated directors in the industry. As a resident of LA for over a decade, she had the opportunity to see her dreams come true—working on Disney sets, shooting TV shows with green screens, filming promos and commercials, and creating unforgettable moments in the entertainment world.

After leaving LA in 2020,for brighter, breezy beach days in Orange County, Tanya took time off from acting to focus on writing and teaching. However, her passion for the craft was reignited when she played the part of a quirky doctor in a scene-stealing performance at The Camino Real Playhouse in 2024, reminding herself and others that she was ready for whatever came next.

Today, Tanya continues to work in both acting and voice-overs, and is a theater professor at Saddleback College. She has also built her own copywriting business, Write Voice Branding, where she helps others discover the power of voice- craft in branding. Her story is one of resilience, passion, and a commitment to using art to empower and inspire others. Wherever her journey takes her, Tanya remains dedicated to her many creative talents, continuing to shape characters, voices, and stories with love and artistry.
